موطأ مالك#1657Hasanوَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَلَى حَفْصَةَ خِمَارٌ رَقِيقٌ فَشَقَّتْهُ عَائِشَةُ وَكَسَتْهَا خِمَارًا كَثِيفًا .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Alqama ibn Abi Alqama that his mother said, "Hafsa bint Abd ar-Rahman visited A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Hafsa was wearing a long thin head scarf. A'isha tore it in two and made a thick one for her
