Sunan Ibn Majah 2103
سنن ابن ماجه#2103Da'ifحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ بَشَّارِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّمَا الْحَلِفُ حِنْثٌ أَوْ نَدَمٌ " .
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "An oath (leads to) either sin or regret
