صحيح البخاري#3631Sahihحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلْ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْمَاطٍ ". قُلْتُ وَأَنَّى يَكُونُ لَنَا الأَنْمَاطُ قَالَ " أَمَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ لَكُمُ الأَنْمَاطُ ". فَأَنَا أَقُولُ لَهَا ـ يَعْنِي امْرَأَتَهُ ـ أَخِّرِي عَنِّي أَنْمَاطَكِ. فَتَقُولُ أَلَمْ يَقُلِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ لَكُمُ الأَنْمَاطُ ". فَأَدَعُهَا.
Narrated Jabir:(Once) the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have you got carpets?" I replied, "Whence can we get carpets?" He said, "But you shall soon have carpets." I used to say to my wife, "Remove your carpets from my sight," but she would say, "Didn't the Prophet (ﷺ) tell you that you would soon have carpets?" So I would give up my request
