سنن أبي داود#2584Sahihحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِضَّةً . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَمَا عَلِمْتُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ .
Narrated Sa'id ibn AbulHasan: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was of silver. Qatadah said: I do not know that anyone has supported him for that (for the tradition narrated by Sa'id b. Abu al-Hasan)
